Apex Games 2.0: A Weekend of Competition and Community

Last weekend saw the return of the highly anticipated Apex Games 2.0 taking over the fitness scene - bringing together a dynamic community of athletes for two days of intense competition and high-energy challenges. The event proved to be a massive success, with a fantastic turnout of athletes who showcased their grit, determination and sportsmanship in front of a crowd of excited spectators.

Athletes were split into teams of four, representing local gyms and registered teams, ready to put their skills to the test in a variety of gruelling challenges. Among the standout challenges was the tenacious Hang Bar, which had competitors fighting to stay suspended for as long as possible and the gut-busting Max Ski Erg, pushing participants to their absolute limits.

Of course, the Apex Games wouldn’t be complete without the return of the fan-favourite tests of strength, endurance and summit challenges. These classic challenges provided a true test of athleticism, combining physical prowess with mental toughness.

While the competition was fierce, what stood out throughout the weekend was the sense of camaraderie and community that defined the event. The energy was contagious, as spectators and fellow competitors bonded over the shared experiences and supported one another through every rep and sprint.

In addition to the competition, we also held our biggest sample sale, giving attendees the chance to get their hands on exclusive products. The sample sale was a huge hit, with many taking advantage of the opportunity to refresh their wardrobes while showing off the latest and greatest from a range of Blakely collections.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make Apex Games 2.0 a massive success. From the athletes that brought their A-game, to those who came to the sample sale and the special guest appearances, it was truly a weekend to remember! This event wasn’t just about competition - it was about coming together as a community to push boundaries, challenge each other and most importantly have fun whilst doing it!
